So should you apply concealer first, or wait until after your foundation is applied?
After! You won’t waste as much product. Foundation will cover up a lot of problematic areas, so you won’t have to conceal as much. For under eyes, I like to keep that area bright so an under eye concealer stays its brightest when applied after foundation.
The only time I use concealer before foundation is when I have a more uneven skin tone and my foundation is light coverage, if you apply concealer fist make sure you use your foundation over top because you don’t want it to smudge of when applying your foundation.
You need 3 different types of correction:
1.Under eye concealer 2.Spots and imperfections 3. Brightening corrector
My favorite under eye concealer needs to have an apricot toned that way it hides dark circles. Color theory says that peach (orange) counteracts blue (dark circles) so it makes perfect sense as to why it works.
My favorite concealer for spots and imperfections would have to be a Highly Pigmented Concealers with a paste texture and need to mach the color of your skin tone.
For under eye brightness I use a liquid highlighter corrector 1 color lighter then your skin!
